Moving Theatre is the lead partner in the Record Partnership which is developing six new stage plays inspired by rock and pop icons of the 1970s.
The partners are
Moving Theatre, working with James Hicks and Nick Moran,inspired by Slade
Steve Stenning working with the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry revisits the Bay City Rollers
The New Wolsey, Ipswich and Peter Rowe looking at Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys
PW Productions and Doug Lucie reflecting on Tony Blair’s musical influences when he was at Oxford
Andy Jordan Productions/Bristol Express and Chris Burgess taking Glary Glitter as their subject
Yvonne Brewster working with Sol B River on a play about Bob Marley
The work will be presented at a mini festival weekend at the end of October 2012 in Norwich
