Schnitzler Season

Moving Theatre's major Arthur Schnitzler Season of Forgotten Work, involved no fewer than 54 writers, adaptors, directors, designers and actors. The season produced five public performances of hitherto unseen works by Arthur Schnitzler; A production of Fair Game, and rehearsed readings of Lieutenant Gustl, Comedy of Words, Fraulein Else and Professor Bernhardi.

Freiwild (Fair Game) was the centre-piece of Moving Theatre's acclaimed Schnitzler Season of Forgotten work at The New End Theatre, Hampstead. A sixteen strong cast performed this ensemble work, in a commissioned translation by Michael Robinson. Moving Theatre has now presented no fewer than nine works by Austria's premiere playwright, a unique achievement.
